Teakwood Frame

• Cleaning: Wipe down the solid suar wood frame regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the wood.
• Protection: To keep the wood looking its best, apply an outdoor wood protector or sealant at least once a year. This will help safeguard it against weathering, moisture, and UV damage.
• Avoid Prolonged Exposure to Moisture: If the frame gets wet, dry it immediately with a clean cloth to prevent water damage, swelling, or warping.

Mattress & Cushions

• Fabric Care: Spot clean the mattress and cushion covers with a mild detergent and lukewarm water. For larger spills, gently scrub with a soft brush. Always check the care label for specific cleaning instructions.
• Drying: After cleaning, always air dry the mattress and cushions in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not machine dry the covers as this can shrink or damage the fabric.
• Fluffing: Regularly fluff the cushions to maintain their shape and comfort. This will also help prevent the fibers from becoming compressed over time.

Cushion Storage

• When Not in Use: Store cushions in a dry, cool place during extended periods of non-use, especially during inclement weather. If left outside, use a waterproof storage bag or furniture cover to protect the cushions from moisture and dirt.

General Maintenance

• Covering: To extend the life of your daybed, consider covering it with a breathable outdoor cover when it’s not in use, especially during wet weather or overnight.
• UV Protection: The fabric may fade with prolonged sun exposure, so consider using a fabric protectant spray that provides UV resistance to maintain the fabric's color and quality.
